WHAT'S NEW
SECRET SISTER
Sign-ups begin today! Ladies 13 years and older are invited to participate in this special time of encouragement, prayer, and surprises for one another. The event runs from November through January, with the reveal on February 6th. Pick up a “Getting to Know You” form in the gym, fill out what you’re comfortable sharing, and return it to Renee Visick by November 15th. A table will be available in the gym for dropping off and picking up surprises. If you have questions, contact Renee.
KIDS CHRISTMAS SKIT
Our ERCC kids will be performing a skit called The Light Has Come during service on Sunday, December 13th. The skit will feature the nativity, kid’s choir, animals and a drumline. Practices will be held on Sunday’s during Kid’s Church starting November 1st through the 12th with a dress rehearsal on Saturday, December 12th. Pastor Adam will be handing out flyers at pick up time after ERCC Kids church.
TRUNK OR TREAT
Trunk or Treat is tomorrow! Join us on Saturday, October 31st, from 1:00–3:00 PM for this fun community outreach event. Stop by the table in the foyer after service and find a place to serve. You can still invite your friends, family, and neighbors! If you are volunteering at the event, make sure to come early to set up your area, get instructions, and pray over the event. Thank you for helping make this community outreach a fun and welcoming experience!
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
This week we are collecting items on the Amazon Gift List. If you prefer not to shop, you can also make a monetary donation to help pay for needed items. Please write “OCC” in the memo line of your check and place it in one of the donation boxes. We will start sorting and packing shoeboxes on November 1st. If you would like to help, contact Sherri or Jannika Frothingham. These shoeboxes provide an opportunity for children to hear the Gospel and learn about the love of Jesus, which they can then share with their families and others. As you shop, please remember that all items must fit inside a standard shoebox. Please do not donate liquids, food, or soap. Thank you for your generosity.

SONG OF THE MONTH - NOVEMBER
For the last few years we have been doing "November to Remember" during worship, bringing back songs from the past that remind us of our childhood faith and of God's faithfulness to us throughout our lives.
Our Song of the Month is a 2000+ year old text - Psalm 84 - set to a new tune, a proven way to memorize scripture just as Psalm 119:11 tells us to hide God's words in our hearts that we might not sin against Him.

We would love you to join us on Sunday mornings in the Media room before service at 8:45 AM. We are doing a study in Genesis chapters 25-50 titled “Be Authentic" by Warren Wiersby. This is a great opportunity to meet others in the church and share God’s Word. The study is facilitated by Elder Scott.

WOMEN’S FALL BIBLE STUDY
The women are offering a bible study on Thursdays from 9:30-11:00 AM on Paul’s letter to the Romans. This profound and life-transforming book helps us discover afresh how deeply we are loved and how completely we are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It contains the most comprehensive teaching in the New Testament on the gospel of Jesus Christ: God’s good news to us. It is a year-long study and the cost is $5. Senior Saints! Please join us as we share our lives in Christ to encourage, grow, and laugh with each other. We’ll meet in the ERCC Media room for a delicious lunch, ukulele led worship, a biblical message, sharing, and prayer. The Lord sustains us as we continue to bear fruit and praise God. The men will share breakfast, Elder Giff will speak, and then the men will breakout into small groups for discussions. Let’s strengthen each other through His Word. SERVING OUR SENIORS
Would you like to bless our Senior Saints? You can, by making a main dish for one of our Senior Bible Fellowship (SBF) meetings. This is a bi-monthly gathering on the second and fourth Tuesday at 11:30 AM where our seniors come together for fellowship, faith, and a delicious meal. You may drop off the dish on Sunday or Monday before the meeting and we'll take care of the rest and cover the cost. It’s a simple but impactful way to show love and appreciation to our seniors. You can sign up by clicking the link provided – ‘Take Them a Meal’ and they will send a link for “take them a meal” every quarter for you to sign up to volunteer. If you have any questions, contact Dean or Kirie.

GLEAN AT ERCC (food and other items)
Inspired by: Acts 4:32 "All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had." ERCC hosts a gleaning on Wednesdays around 11:00 – 12:00 PM in the back parking lot. Items are extras from stores such as Trader Joes and QFC. It's mostly food, but sometimes other household items. When you arrive, there will be a person handing out buttons with numbers. You will line up according to your number. The elderly will have their own line and will go first. You must stay in line, no passing. Items allowed to pick depend on the amount of food that is brought. All participants are asked to enter through the back gate, park and go directly to the “number person” and get in line. (No scanning of the items laid out) Please come to the church after you receive the email notification from ERCC. People attending ERCC are welcome to participate in the ‘glean’ distribution. If you would like to attend please email the church office and you will be added to the ‘gleaning’ email list. An e-mail will be sent about 15-20 minutes before the distribution begins. You must wait until the email is sent before coming to the church. These are the instructions for the current participants and ERCC participants will be expected to do the same.
