WOMEN - FALL KICKOFF
Ladies, you’re invited to our Women’s Fall Kick-off on September 20th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM! Come enjoy a light breakfast as we share what events are coming up for the fall, winter, and spring seasons and ways to get involved. We'll have a special time hearing Jeanette Hecox share a little bit about the summer bible study titled Heaven. There also is a table in the lobby with a signup sheet if you would like to bring food for the event.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
This week we are focusing on collecting items for hygiene. An Amazon wish list has been created for easy shopping and the items you purchase can be shipped directly to the church.  (13232 156th Ave. SE, Renton, WA 98059) A table has been set up to drop items off as well as provide you with some information and a list of items we need. You can also contribute money for postage or time by helping pack the shoeboxes. If you have questions, contact Sherri or Jannika Frothingham.

WOMEN - BIBLE STUDIES
Study: Ephesians: God's Vision for His People
Ever wonder, "Do I matter?" "What is my purpose for living?" The Apostle Paul, during his two-year imprisonment in Rome, spells out God's grand calling, plan and purpose for our life when united to Jesus Christ through faith. This letter begins with a breathtaking list of what God has done to adopt us as his own accomplished by the work of Christ. It includes practical ways to live a life of love, even in a harsh and hostile world, where we must learn to stand firm in Christ. You're warmly welcome to join us as we learn to be "kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Eph. 4:32.

Study: John Chapters 15-21
Studying John's gospel will help us know Jesus Christ more and the abundant life He has prepared for us. John 20:31 says "But these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Sone of God, and that believing you may have life in His name." These final chapters in John cover Jesus' last days on earth, His death, and His resurrection.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 25th and join us for an afternoon of fun, food, and games! Doors will be open from 2:00–4:00 PM. We’ll have a sign-up sheet available for volunteers next Sunday, and we’ll also need lots of candy. Grab an invitation from the table and invite your friends and neighbors. You can register your kids and fill out the slide waiver now!

SOUND BOOTH
Are you interested in serving behind the scenes? We’re looking for volunteers to join our sound booth team during Sunday services. No prior experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and be part of a team that helps make worship happen each week. If you’re curious and would like more information email Pastor Adam.

SONG OF THE MONTH - SEPTEMBER
Our true identity and value are not found in possessions, achievements, or status, but in Christ alone. The lyrics point us away from pride in success or despair in failure, anchoring our worth in Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and His redeeming love. We no longer strive to prove ourselves by worldly measures, but rest in God’s grace and respond with gratitude and faith. (Philippians 3:8)
My Worth Is Not in What I Own by Keith & Kristyn Getty

SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY
Come join us for a study on Daniel. We meet Sunday mornings at 8:45 AM in the Media room. The study is facilitated by Elder Scott. This is a great opportunity to meet others in the church and share God’s Word.

COFFEE FELLOWSHIP
Stop in and join us before service on Sunday morning around 9:15 AM for some light refreshments and fellowship.

MOVE-UP DAY
We have changed the structure of Sunday School for Preschoolers through 5th Graders (Nursery and Toddlers will remain the same). VBS has been a success for many years now, and we would like to emulate that structure for Sundays. The kids (Preschool through 5th grade) will now begin all together with a whole group Bible Lesson in the Media Room. After the main lesson, the kids will be divided up by grade and go through rotations of Crafts, Bible activities, and Games. Each of these rotations will be in a separate room. The main change for parents will be that the Drop Off/Pick Up location will be in the Media Room for all Preschool-5th graders. We will continue to match up the codes between the parents and kids with the stickers and we’ll try to have all the siblings grouped together for Pick Up. Any questions contact Pastor Adam.

CHURCH BBQ
We will be having a BBQ after service on Sunday, September 21st. The church will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, toppings, paper goods, plastic utensils, water, and lemonade for refreshments. If your last name begins with the letters A-J please bring a side dish or salad and K-Z please bring a dessert. Looking forward to sharing time together! Questions, contact Amanda Lossing.
**When you bring your dish into the kitchen, please fill out a tent card located on the center counter and attach it to your food item.

YOUTH - ERCC YOUTH
Invite your friends and join us at youth group on Sunday, September 21st, from 4:30–7:30 PM. We’ll kick things off with some fun games, dinner, and then dive into a meaningful lesson. For questions, reach out to Pastor Adam.

SENIOR BIBLE FELLOWSHIP
Senior Saints! Please join us as we share our lives in Christ to encourage, grow, and laugh with each other. We’ll meet in the ERCC Media room for a delicious lunch, ukulele led worship, a biblical message, sharing, and prayer. The Lord sustains us as we continue to bear fruit and praise God. (Psalm 92:14 – 15). Come and join us on Tuesday, September 23rd from 11:30-1:00 PM. If you have any questions or need transportation, contact Dean or Kirie Tsuchida or 425-228-1427. We look forward to spending time with you!

MEN - MEN’S BREAKFAST
Come and enjoy breakfast while getting to know the men of our church on Saturday, September 27th from 7:00-8:30 AM. The men will share breakfast, Elder Giff will speak, and then the men will breakout into small groups for discussions. Let’s strengthen each other through His Word. If you have any prayer requests, please let us know as we would love to be in prayer for you!

PRAYER MEETING
The Elder’s desire is to glorify God by making ERCC a house of prayer. Come and join us on the first Tuesday of each month as we pray for the church, ERCC ministries, our country, and the nations. There will be two sessions on Tuesday, October 7th: one at 8:00 AM and one at 7:00 PM. Elder Dean Tsuchida will be leading both prayer times. For more information contact Dean Tsuchida.

HELP SERVE OUR SENIORS
We would love for you to join our ministry in preparing part of the meal for our seniors at Senior Bible Fellowship. This is a bi-monthly gathering on the second and fourth Tuesday at 11:30 AM where our seniors come together for fellowship, faith, and a delicious meal. You can bring any dish for lunch and drop it off on Sunday, either a main dish, side, salad, rolls, or dessert. It’s a simple but impactful way to show love and appreciation to our seniors. Remember to turn your receipts in for reimbursement. If interested, please email the Deacons.

GLEAN AT ERCC (food and other items)
Inspired by: Acts 4:32 "All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had."

ERCC hosts a gleaning on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays around 11:30 – 12:00pm in the back parking lot. Items are extras from stores such as Costco and QFC. It's mostly food, but sometimes other household items. When you arrive, there will be a person handing out buttons with numbers. You will line up according to your number. The elderly will have their own line and will go first. You will go through in groups of 10 and you must stay in line, no passing. Items allowed to pick depend on the amount of food that is brought. All participants are asked to enter through the back gate, park and go directly to the “number person” and get in line. (No scanning of the items laid out) Please come to the church after you receive the email notification from ERCC.
People attending ERCC are welcome to participate in the ‘glean’ distribution. If you would like to attend please email the church office and you will be added to the ‘gleaning’ email list. An e-mail will be sent about 15-20 minutes before the distribution begins. You must wait until the notice is sent before coming to the church. These are the instructions for the current participants and ERCC participants will be expected to do the same.

PRESTON FOOD BANK
Preston Food Bank is making a huge impact, supporting 200 families each week and creating special care bags for women, children, shut-ins, and more each month. To help them continue this vital work, they need plastic and paper shopping bags, magazines, and egg cartons. If you’d like to contribute, please place your donations in the cardboard box located in the church kitchen. Sally Williams will be collecting items every Sunday. Thank you for helping make a difference in our community.
