ERCC News - Week of 7/12/2024

"What love can remember no wrongs we have done?" is the opening line of this song. Romans 5:8 tells us "God demonstrates his love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." We do not deserve this gift of salvation, yet God provided a way for us to have a relationship with Him. Our sins they are many, but His mercy is more!

Song for July: His Mercy Is More by Matt Papa and Matt Boswell.

We encourage the men of ERCC to invite friends and join us on July 13th at 7:00am. Let’s help strengthen one another spiritually, mentally, and emotionally through thoughtful conversations. Questions contact Men's Ministry.

Come and join the ladies for fellowship and crocheting on July 13th from 10:00am-12:00pm at ERCC. Gina Greenewald will teach us how to make washcloths for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. If you have these items, please bring a size F or G crochet hook and a skein of cotton yarn (Just Cotton or I Love This Cotton) and if you don’t, there will be extra supplies to use. Knitters are also welcome. Email for more details.

Become part of our dedicated team in teaching/assisting in Sunday school—an incredible opportunity to share and grow in God's Word while impacting young lives. Areas that need filling are two in nursery, two in the toddler room, one to teach preschool and substitutes for the summer. Your time will make a meaningful difference! Contact Pastor Adam.

For those of you who are newcomers, after service please see Suzie in the west entry lobby at the Welcome Desk for an ERCC Welcome Folder.

Come and join us before service every Sunday at 8:45am in the media room for a new Warren Wiersbe study of the minor prophets titled Be Determined in his Be Heroic series. This new study, facilitated by Elder Scott, focuses on Nehemiah. Books will be available in class, and you can pay then or drop your payment in a tithe box or the church office. (Please indicate on your payment that it’s for the study). This is a great opportunity to meet others in the church and share God’s Word.

Stop in and join us before service on Sunday, around 9:15am, for some light refreshments and fellowship.

On Monday, July 15th at 6:00pm get ready for some wild and messy games involving shaving cream, soap, water and much more! This event promises loads of fun and laughter. Don’t miss out! Questions contact Pastor Adam.

There is still time to sign up! We are providing a seven-week video study on two different days/times titled When You Pray. There will be no study the week of VBS, July 24nd & 25th. When registering include which day you will be attending and if you will be needing childcare for Thursday’s study only. You can sign up by emailing the Women’s Ministry team and you’ll have to purchase your study guide online.
Days offered for bible study:
Wednesday Evening: 7:00-8:30pm
Thursday Morning: 9:30-11:00am

Join us for a BBQ outside in the back of the church after service on Sunday, July 21st. The church will provide hamburgers/hotdogs, all the fixings, paper goods, plastic utensils, water, and lemonade for refreshments. If your last name begins with the letters A-M, please bring a salad or side dish and N-Z please bring a dessert. Looking forward to sharing time together!
**When you bring your dish into the kitchen, please fill out a tent card located on the center counter and attach it to your food item. Thank you.

2024 VBS
VBS is quickly approaching! The theme this year is Breaker Rock Beach: God’s rock-solid truth in a world of shifting sands. Kids will discover that God’s truth never changes, everyone needs Jesus, and learn to speak the truth in love. Let’s make this a fun, memorable, and life changing experience for the kids and families in our church and community! VBS will be held Monday—Thursday, July 22nd—25th from 5:30—8:00pm. Fill out the form on our website to either serve or register your child. We have two more volunteer spaces to fill for adult guides.

Senior Saints! Please join us as we share our lives in Christ to encourage, grow, and laugh with each other. We’ll meet in the ERCC Media room for a delicious lunch, ukulele led worship, a biblical message, sharing, and prayer. The Lord sustains us as we continue to bear fruit and praise God. (Psalm 92:14 – 15). Our next gathering is Tuesday, July 23rd from 11:30-1:00pm.  If you have any questions or need transportation, contact Dean or Kirie Tsuchida at: 425-228-1427. We look forward to spending time with you!

Come and enjoy breakfast while getting to know the men of our church on Saturday, July 27th from 7:00-8:30am. The men will share breakfast, then Elder Giff will speak, and then the men will break out into small groups for discussions. Let’s strengthen each other through His Word. If you have any prayer requests, please let us know as we would love to be in prayer for you!

If you love camping, come join us at Lake Easton State Park on August 15th-18th or just part of the time. There are spots available in the big group site. The state park is located past the Snoqualmie summit and takes about an hour’s drive. If you’re interested or need more information, contact Diane.

We will not be meeting over the summer but will start back up in the fall on Wednesday, October 9th. Questions contact Women's Ministry.
