TRUNK OR TREAT
We have one week until our annual Trunk or Treat outreach on Saturday, October 26th from 3:00-5:00 PM, and we’d love for you to get involved! We have a couple of opportunities left for trunk decorating, face painting, and traffic control, as well as helping with decorations and creating a balloon arch. We still need lots of candy! Be sure to stop by the table on Sunday to see how you can participate, and don’t forget to pick up an invitation for your friends and neighbors. For more information, contact, Kristen Bartlett. ERCC KID’S HELPERS
An opportunity to serve in our church is helping in the kid’s ministry during service. We currently need 2 adults for nursery. (serve once per month for the school year) If you are interested contact Pastor Adam.
MOMS IN PRAYER
If you are a mom with a heart for praying over your children and their schools, join a group of women who gather, either in person or via Zoom, to lift up their kids, teachers, school staff, and the surrounding schools in prayer. Together, they also pray for the school district and this vital ministry. As one mom said, “Moms praying together is a tangible way of sharing the light of Christ.”
If you're interested, you can either join an existing group or start one for your own school. Cindy DePoule leads a group for Hazen High School that meets on Zoom, and we’d love for you to be a part of this powerful time of prayer!

Families are back into their school routines, days are getting shorter, and we are entering into the last quarter of the year which can be full of activity with multiple holidays and events. In the midst of it all, God gently, yet persistently, calls us daily to surrender it all and rest in Him.

SUNDAY BIBLE STUDY
Come and join us before service every Sunday at 8:45am in the media room for a Warren Wiersbe study of the minor prophets titled Be Determined in his Be Heroic series. This study is facilitated by Elder Scott and focuses on Nehemiah. Books will be available in class, and you can pay then or drop your payment in a tithe box or drop off at the church office. (Please indicate on your payment that it’s for the study). This is a great opportunity to meet others in the church and share God’s Word.

Stop in and join us before service on Sunday morning around 9:15am for some light refreshments and fellowship.
OCC SHOEBOXES
We invite you to be part of Operation Christmas Child by filling shoeboxes with gifts that will share God’s love with children around the world. Over the next month, we’ll be collecting items to help spread hope and joy to those who need it most. For the month of October, we will be collecting wow items for 2-4 and 10-14-year-old girls and boys, small toys, personal safety supplies and eating or drinking items (no food or liquids). If you need help with what to buy there is a list of suggested items at the table in the foyer or you can order from our list on Amazon and have it sent directly to ERCC (13232 156th Ave SE, Renton WA 98059). If you have any questions, you can email Jannika or see her or Sherri after service in the lobby.
CHURCH POTLUCK
We would love for you to join us for a potluck in the gym after service on Sunday, October 20th! It’s a wonderful chance to share a meal and spend time together as a church family. The church will provide paper goods, utensils, water, and lemonade. If your last name begins with A-J, please bring a main dish, and if it begins with K-Z, bring a salad or dessert. We’re excited to enjoy this time of fellowship and delicious food with you! For questions, contact Amanda Lossing.

Enjoy a delicious dinner, dive into a thought-provoking biblical message, engage in meaningful discussions, and have a blast with some exciting games. Come and enjoy breakfast while getting to know the men of our church on Saturday, October 26th from 7:00-8:30am. The men will share breakfast, Elder Giff will speak, and then the men will breakout into small groups for discussions. Let’s strengthen each other through His Word. If you have any prayer requests, please let us know as we would love to be in prayer for you!

Everyone who works with the sound board, ProPresenter, and video camera are invited to a lunch in the Media Room after service on October 27th. Families of the kids who help are welcome as well! We’d also like to extend the invitation to anyone interested in joining the Tech Team. If you’ve ever been curious about what they do, this is a great opportunity to learn more and ask any questions. We’ll meet in the ERCC Media room for a delicious lunch, ukulele led worship, a biblical message, sharing, and prayer. The Lord sustains us as we continue to bear fruit and praise God. (Psalm 92:14 – 15). Join us at our next gathering on Tuesday, November 12th from 11:30-1:00pm. If you have any questions or need transportation, contact Dean or Kirie Tsuchida or 425-228-1427. We look forward to spending time with you!

Join us for Ladies Night Out on Wednesday, November 13th at 7:00 PM! We will be inspired by one of our ladies’ testimonies and it’s a wonderful opportunity to connect, be encouraged, and spend time with other women. We hope to see you there!

If you are thirteen or older and enjoy playing board games, come and join us on Saturday, November 16th from 1:00-5:00pm. This is a great opportunity to connect while having fun. You’re welcome to bring your favorite boardgame and a snack to share, but not required. If you need childcare, email Mandy by Wednesday prior to the event.
